I'm Emmanuel, an artist deeply passionate about crafting vibrant illustrations and engaging stories for children. Perhaps you've stumbled upon some of my work, such as "The Adventures of Onin" and "The Adventures of Sira," which are filled with thrilling adventures and lovable characters adored by kids everywhere!
My artistic journey began with studies in Barcelona, where I immersed myself in the world of fine arts. Following this, I had the enriching experience of spending a year refining my painting skills at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, which greatly influenced my artistic style.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of exhibiting my artwork in galleries and venues across Europe and beyond, from Milan to Yamanashi and back to Barcelona. Alongside this, I've been honored with the Juul Kanpaina prize for best illustrator four times for my contributions to children's illustration in Navarra.
Additionally, I've had the opportunity to explore different cultures through art residencies. In 2013, I participated in the AIR-Y residency in Kofu City, Yamanashi, Japan, immersing myself in the local art scene and drawing inspiration from the vibrant culture. More recently, in 2022, I had the pleasure of being part of the Kura Artist in Residency program in Itoshima, Japan, where I further honed my craft and expanded my artistic horizons.
Beyond my illustrations, I've also ventured into the world of theater. My stories have been adapted into successful youth theater productions in Spain, captivating audiences with their enchanting narratives and lively characters.

¡Hola!
Soy Emmanuel, un artista apasionado por crear ilustraciones vibrantes y contar historias cautivadoras para niños. Quizás hayas visto algunas de mis obras, como "Las aventuras de Onin" y "Las aventuras de Sira", llenas de emocionantes aventuras y personajes adorables que encantan a los niños en todas partes.
Mi viaje artístico comenzó con estudios en Barcelona, donde me sumergí en el mundo de las bellas artes. Después, tuve la enriquecedora experiencia de pasar un año perfeccionando mis habilidades de pintura en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Viena, lo que influyó en gran medida en mi estilo artístico.
A lo largo de mi carrera, he tenido el privilegio de exhibir mi obra en galerías y lugares de toda Europa y más allá, desde Milán hasta Yamanashi y de vuelta a Barcelona. Además, he tenido el honor de recibir cuatro veces el premio Juul Kanpaina por mis contribuciones a la ilustración infantil en Navarra.
Además, he tenido la oportunidad de explorar diferentes culturas a través de residencias artísticas. En 2013, participé en la residencia AIR-Y en la ciudad de Kofu, Yamanashi, Japón, sumergiéndome en la escena artística local y sacando inspiración de la vibrante cultura. Más recientemente, en 2022, tuve el placer de formar parte del programa de Residencia de Artistas Kura en Itoshima, Japón, donde perfeccioné aún más mi arte y amplié mis horizontes artísticos.
Además de mis ilustraciones, también me aventuré en el mundo del teatro. Mis historias han sido adaptadas con éxito en producciones teatrales juveniles en España, cautivando al público con sus narrativas encantadoras y personajes animados.
